I Have Been Kicked/Banned From The Server

All of KH members have admin rights, and each circumstance is impossible to say for sure without speaking to the admin.

• You were the last player to join, and server is full. A kick here is to make room for a KH member.
• Intentional TKing / FVD (friendly vehicle damage). Doesn't apply to FVD for respawn purposes.
• Ignoring requests of a KH member - eg flying an empty chopper when the base is full of people needing a ride.
• A KH member has requested (usually over TS) that playerx is kicked.
• Spamming chat.
• Excessive swearing/insulting another players ability
• Breach of any additional rules at the admins discretion.

Most players do not appreciate that the admin is also a player, and doesn't have a birds eye view of every action every player makes, and has to rely on what he is told and what s/he sees. During busy times mistakes are inevitable.

If you feel you have been kicked unfairly, rejoin a while later and ask. If you feel you have been banned unfairly, PM an admin via the link in the memberlist on the forums along with your game name, ArmA ID# and a brief description of what happened.

I Have Problems Connecting To The Server

If you are having problems connecting please confirm you are running the current version of Arma2 which matched the Kellys-Heroes server. Also make sure you are not running any Addons or Mods which we do not allow to be run client-side.

During periods when the server is locked, new players wishing to join the server must register on TeamSpeak and request the password from a [KH] community member.

I am Wishing To Join Kellys-Heroes Community...

ALL requests to join the Community are to be directed to [KH]Dark Fenix, a trial period followed upon which a 24hr poll will be made for existing community members to cast their yes/no vote. We're looking for players who have more of a social style of play, although being a crack shot as well is a bonus in anyones book.

Communication via TS is essential, and being able to work in a simple team and generally "fit in" will guarantee you a place. Once playing several times on the server, you will find that we mainly coop, and have 2 excellent mission designers who know the designer back to front who produce quality missions and edits to improve others.

We are a public server 95% of the time, and the beauty of the KH server and it's missions are anyone can join at any time during the mission, be at the action within 5 minutes, and leave at any time without having an adverse effect on the mission for anyone else.

If you have any skills you can add to the KH community such as mission designing, being an ace in the sky, or being ex/military, these are all bonuses, we are a fun community, combined with no-nonsense admins to remove players who attempt to disrupt the game for everyone else.

If you want to become a Kellys Hero, before requesting to join, you must have played on the server several times and use TeamSpeak - otherwise your message will go unanswered due to the volume of these we get.

Kellys Heroes accepts a number of client side addons. We test each addon par to ensure that it does not conflict with the server par runtime environment and make every effort to only accept addons that do not offer an overly unfair advantage to users.
